A girl on a swing.

I wasn't quite sure I would get this shot since the subject was in constant motion but by using zone focusing and increasing the DOF by tightening the aperture, I think it came out ok.
Thanks for looking.

Signature Leica ... u are getting the hang of an RF (which is more than I can say for myself, am all but given up ..) A smaller aperture would have made the beautiful subject "pop" more , giving a 3D effect, but that is really nitpicking ... Really glad t...
Thanks for the feedback mate ;)

Actually, I thought I had used a smaller aperture, at least F8.0 but I guess I had too much going on to really notice as I was more worried about the focusing ( these damn rangefinders :)). I haven't yet tried the EV or even used the LV. Perhaps that will...
One word ... Summilux
By: flamenco : October 12th, 2014-21:07
The 50 lux would be my choice , unless u are referring to the APO (da domb) verison !!! Since the 50mm focal length can be used as a portrait lens (which I think is your area of photography). And a shallower DOF would produce a better signature gorgeous L...

I thought you used the GPT combined with half-focused TOD with a variety of Summilux-ness and 55% of grey-shady-days ;-) ... but then i'm not really an expert :-) . Just an amazing pic my friend! Filip
Filip... not sure if you know this, but

TOD format is comparable with AVCHD and has a frame aspect ratio of 16:9. One of TOD recording modes, "1440CBR", has the same frame size, aspect ratio and frame rate as 1080i. When viewed on a computer the media file extension is normally *.M2T... ;-) ......
Haha, didn't know :-)

TOD just randomly came to my (twisted) mind :-)

You really captured her spirit, and I am sure that she will love to see your photograph again and again as she gets older... a fond memory of that moment... Love the eyes and smile... I am using f/5.6 so often, it's almost my middle name ;-). You nailed t...
Glad you like it Echi.

I toned it down as the initial colours were a bit too bright IMO, especially the girl's red dress which was overpowering everything else. :) cheers fernando
Fabolous

I suppose there's more satisfaction and a sense of achievement once you master it. :) I'm still not there yet so it frustrates and also intrigues me at the same time. Thanks Quan for the response. fernando

Thank you Oliver!
