The PuristSPro.com Photography Forum is for photographers and those who enjoy photography...  This forum is the place to discuss the various aspects, components, and processes in photography.  Linking back to your photography website is fine. However you may not promote your commercial web site or forum or photo related product on PuristSPro.com Photography Forum. Websites selling products or camera equipment as a "hobby" are considered commercial websites.

A member may promote themselves as a photographer, such as sites showing your own (non-commercial) photography, or sharing events in your photographic life such as shows or publication. Links to articles of interest to forum members are fine, keeping in mind the intent and seminal nature of PuristSPro.com.

We encourage and request that you discuss specific dealers (commercial websites) and discounts by private email. If you are requesting dealer referrals or pricing information, please leave an email address. Any such requests without email address may be deleted without notice. All posts containing such specific information may also be edited or deleted without notice. Please post for sale, wanted to buy, and trading requests on our Collectors Market.

I like this quote from Tom Wood (an Irish photographer from County Mayo) "I'm not trying to document anything, I am asking a question. It is more about deciphering and transforming. You don't call a poet, a documentary poet, because they write about life, so why a photographer?"

Why we take photos, how we do it, and what we take photos of...  There has never been a more interesting time for photography...

Kind regards,
Casey Henderson

Gentle help... well, I will see what's possible, not that you need it ;-) Critiquing is always a tricky adventure.. The cherry blossoms were great this year, much stronger than the last couple of years. Casey

Can you tell me about the last image in the series (the blue one)... That first one is very nice. The open doors and earth tones give the image a beautiful welcoming feel. The macro is also nice... Enjoyed looking at your work. Casey

Thanks. The last is a winter shot ......

Hi Casey, Thanks a lot for the idea of a photo forum, I guess there will be a lot of interesting topics in here. I have a Leica IIIf with only one lens, the 50 mm 3.5. I have had other Leicas: M6, M7, M6TTL, and one R8, by now the only Leica M I have is a...
